Mr. Yongho Seo has been a partner at LEE & MOCK IP since joining the firm in 2006. He has extensive experience in patent, utility model and design prosecution, Office Action responses, freedom-to-operate (FTO) and infringement analysis, as well as patent search and analytics.

Drawing upon his hands-on engineering experience in semiconductor equipment, LCD equipment, and robotics systems, Mr. Seo provides practical and flexible consulting services that integrate industrial field expertise with professional IP knowledge to support his clients’ R&D and IP management strategies.
Mr. Seo has also developed and operated LEE & MOCK IP’s in-house patent analysis systems for processing and analyzing large-scale patent data. Through customized services such as prior-art investigations for new market entry, analysis of competitors’ extensive patent portfolios, and patent analysis for feasibility assessments, he has successfully addressed a wide range of client needs.
Even before the recent rise of the AI era, LEE & MOCK IP had already been providing proprietary and differentiated IP services to clients. As part of these initiatives, Mr. Seo led the development of an automated proofreading system for patent applications and an automated terminology dictionary system for translation work.
