Ms. Hayoung Kim passed the Korean Patent Attorney Examination in 1997 and joined LEE & MOCK IP in 2014, now practicing as a partner as well as patent attorney. She possesses extensive experience in patent and utility model prosecution and portfolio development, intellectual property trials and litigation, freedom-to-operate (FTO) analyses, infringement analyses, and patent searching and analysis.

Ms. Kim handles a broad range of technical fields, including chemistry, materials and metallurgy, energy, battery materials, semiconductor materials, and electronic materials, and has accumulated substantial practical experience covering domestic and international patent prosecution, office action (OA) responses, invalidation trials, scope confirmation trials, and patent infringement disputes and litigation.
