Mr. Soojung Lim passed the Korean Patent Attorney Examination in 2016. As a patent attorney and partner at LEE & MOCK IP, he advises clients on a broad spectrum of intellectual property matters in advanced electronics and information technology sectors, including electrical and electronic engineering, semiconductors and displays, secondary batteries and energy, artificial intelligence and software, autonomous driving and robotics, and aerospace, Urban Air Mobility (UAM), and defense industries.

Mr. Lim’s practice centers on domestic and foreign patent prosecution and encompasses the full lifecycle of intellectual property services — from patent infringement and invalidity opinions, scope-of-rights confirmation trials, invalidation searches, freedom-to-operate (FTO) analyses, and patent landscape studies, to IP consulting, strategic advisory, and government-commissioned IP research projects. He has represented many of Korea\\\'s leading corporations and government-funded research institutes, supporting their efforts to build robust patent portfolios and to establish IP strategies that secure long-term technological competitiveness.

With a background in electrical and control engineering, Mr. Lim brings a strong technical foundation to his practice in the electrical and electronic fields. He is particularly skilled at engaging directly with inventors to distill the essential inventive concepts and translate them into effective rights-securing strategies.
