Ms. Ji-Yeon Kim is a partner at LEE & MOCK IP. Armed with a Ph.D. in Electrical and Electronic Engineering and having passed the Korean Patent Attorney Examination in 2011, Dr. Kim provides comprehensive intellectual property (IP) services tailored to effectively protect and commercialize the core technologies of leading domestic and international corporations, as well as prominent research institutions, amidst a rapidly evolving next-generation ICT landscape.
In particular, Dr. Kim has built a distinguished track record of technical and legal expertise in 3GPP international standard technologies and wireless physical layers, spanning 4G, 5G, and 6G mobile communications, Advanced Air Mobility (AAM), satellite-based Non-Terrestrial Networks (NTN), and Multiple-Input Multiple-Output (MIMO) technology.
