Mr. Jungmo Nam passed the Korean Patent Attorney Examination in 2007 and currently serves as a patent attorney and partner at LEE & MOCK IP. He specializes in patent and utility model prosecution and counseling in the mechanical and device fields, including freedom-to-operate (FTO) and infringement analysis, patent search and analysis, infringement opinions, warning letters, and representation in trials and patent litigation.
Mr. Nam has extensive practical experience across a wide range of technologies, including automotive components, medical devices, construction and civil engineering, and industrial machinery. His expertise covers patent filing and prosecution, infringement analysis, domestic and foreign Office Action responses, patent mapping, and IP strategy consulting.
Mr. Nam works closely with a diverse range of clients, including mid-sized companies, SMEs, and individual inventors. Leveraging his broad knowledge in structural and mechanical engineering, he is particularly skilled at effectively translating technical issues into strong intellectual property rights. In addition, he actively shares information on various government support programs to help clients benefit from available funding and assistance opportunities.
Furthermore, he has participated as a principal researcher in various IP-R&D projects led by government agencies, public institutions, and private organizations, contributing to the establishment of R&D and IP strategies for Korean companies.
