After obtaining her Korean patent attorney license in 2010, Ms. Yeonkyung Kim joined LEE & MOCK IP in 2011. During her time at the firm, she has gained extensive experience in handling patent and utility model prosecution, infringement analysis, and patent search and analysis matters.

Ms. Kim is responsible for intellectual property matters in a wide range of advanced technology fields, including electrical and electronic engineering, semiconductors, displays, artificial intelligence (AI), healthcare/medical devices, image processing, signal processing, and business models. She possesses broad practical experience in patent prosecution, infringement analysis, responses to domestic and foreign Office Actions, patent mapping, and IP strategy consulting.

Ms. Kim has handled patent matters in various electrical and electronic technology fields for major domestic corporations and small-to-medium enterprises, and has worked on patent filing and prosecution matters within multiple jurisdictions, including Korea, the United States, Europe, China, Japan, and India.

Having majored in electronic engineering and previously worked as a semiconductor design engineer, Ms. Kim possesses a high level of technical expertise in the semiconductor field. She is particularly skilled at accurately identifying the technical essence and distinguishing features of inventions and translating them into strong and effective patent rights.
