Ms. Heekyung Bang qualified as a Korean patent attorney in 2011, and is now a partner and patent attorney at LEE & MOCK IP where she has focused her practice on intellectual property matters in the semiconductor field. She has built a strong track record across semiconductor packages, semiconductor processes, semiconductor materials, and image sensors. In addition, she has experience handling patent matters in energy and materials-related technologies, including secondary batteries, fuel cells, and solar cells.

With a background as a researcher, Ms. Bang brings a deep technical understanding and an inventor-oriented perspective to her practice. She is particularly skilled at identifying the core aspects of an invention and translating them into strong and effective patent rights. Ms. Bang has worked extensively with a wide range of clients, including a global semiconductor company, Korean companies of various sizes, and government-funded research institutes. Through long-term client relationships built on trust, she has developed broad expertise across the full patent prosecution process, including invention analysis, claim development, specification drafting, domestic and international filing procedures, Office Action (OA) responses, and post-grant validity reviews.
