Since qualifying as a patent attorney in 2016, Ms. Hyunjung Ma has developed extensive experience in intellectual property matters, with a particular focus on the electrical/electronics and semiconductor fields. She joined LEE & MOCK IP in 2021 and is now a partner at the firm.
In particular, Ms. Ma has substantial expertise in the design of memory semiconductors and system semiconductors, particularly in the fields of CMOS image sensors (CIS) and semiconductor layout designs. Building on this technical background, she has handled numerous patent prosecution and foreign filing matters before major patent offices, including those in Korea, the United States, Europe, China, and Taiwan. She also possesses extensive hands-on experience throughout the entire patent prosecution process, including specification drafting, strategic claim drafting, Office Action responses, and patent scope analysis.
