Hyesung Kim joined LEE & MOCK IP as a patent attorney in 2023. After graduating from Sungkyunkwan University with a degree in Semiconductor Systems Engineering, she worked as a controller development and software development engineer in the Memory Division of Samsung Electronics (DS), where she gained hands-on experience in semiconductor development. Drawing on this background, she went on to obtain her patent attorney qualification and began her career as an IP professional.

Ms. Kim now handles domestic and international patent prosecution and IP rights establishment, focusing on advanced technology fields including semiconductors, electronic devices, and software.

As a former semiconductor development engineer, Ms. Kim has a deep understanding of inventors\\\' perspectives and technical contexts. She leverages this expertise to accurately capture the core value of inventions and translate them into strong and commercially effective patent rights. By combining her experience in memory semiconductor software development with patent practice, she contributes to the strengthening of her clients\\\' intellectual property competitiveness from both technical and legal standpoints.
