Mr. Ho-Keun Lee passed the Korean Patent Attorney examination in 1996, and has been practicing as a patent attorney at LEE & MOCK IP since 2000. He handles a broad range of intellectual property matters, including domestic and international patent prosecution in the fields of image processing, image compression, telecommunications, UI/UX, and software. He also manages infringement and invalidity opinions, patent consulting, legal advisory services, and government-commissioned R&D projects, covering the full spectrum of IP practice.
Mr. Lee studied Astronomy & Atmospheric Sciences, Physics, and Electrical & Electronic Engineering at Yonsei University, and holds a Master of Intellectual Property (MIP) from the University of New Hampshire. This combined foundation in engineering and law underpins his deep technical understanding across diverse technology fields and his expertise in international IP practice.
Representing clients before patent offices in Korea, the United States, Europe, China, Japan, Taiwan, India, and numerous other jurisdictions, Mr. Lee has accumulated extensive international patent prosecution experience. He also shares his knowledge through lectures and seminars at institutions including the International Intellectual Property Training Institute, KAIST Graduate School of Intellectual Property, the Korea Invention Promotion Association, and the Korean Patent Attorneys Association Training Institute, thus contributing to the advancement of intellectual property in Korea.
